Jewish settlers seized 15 Palestinian homes within the occupied East Jerusalem district of Silwan, Israel’s Channel 7 reported.
In keeping with the channel, the settlers positioned Israeli flags on 15 homes in Silwan after the Ateret Cohanim group seized them and handed them to settler households.
Ateret Cohanim is a government-backed Jewish group and academic institute situated within the Muslim Quarter of the Outdated Metropolis of Jerusalem. It actively works on Judaising the holy metropolis and expelling its indigenous Palestinian residents from their properties.

The channel identified that these new seized properties joined 22 others that had been not too long ago taken over by Ateret Cohanim.
