Eskom provides 800MW to grid as Kusile unit comes on-line

Eskom mentioned on Wednesday that it has added as much as 800MW of provide to the nationwide grid after unit 3 on the Kusile energy station was introduced on-line this week.

The activation of unit 3 means Kusile, whose building is years not on time attributable to labour disputes and design issues, is now producing as much as 2.4GW of electrical energy from three of its six items.
