Earlier this week, Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic personally handed over 2,000 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine to Montenegro.
On Tuesday, Montenegro’s Ministry of Well being instructed Sputnik that it was discussing the supply of Russia’s Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine with the Russian authorities and Moscow’s Gamaleya Epidemiology and Microbiology Heart.
Montenegro has already authorised the import of Russian-made vaccines in opposition to the coronavirus.
In August 2020, Russia turned the primary nation on the planet to register a vaccine in opposition to the coronavirus, dubbed Sputnik V, and developed by the Gamaleya analysis institute.
In response to evaluation of section 3 medical trials of Sputnik V, revealed by The Lancet medical journal, Sputnik V has 91.6 % efficacy in opposition to symptomatic COVID-19.
