Oman imposes night time curfew from March 28 to April 8

Oman on Thursday re-imposed a nationwide night time curfew, closing all business actions and banning the motion of people and visitors from 8pm to 5am, spanning March 28 to April 8, Oman Information Company (ONA) reported.

The choice to order nightly motion restrictions for the subsequent 10 days was taken by the Supreme Committee tackling the COVID-19 pandemic, because the variety of each day reported infections continues to rise.

“To regulate the unfold of the Covid-19 virus, it has been determined to impose a curfew from March 28 to April 8. All of the retailers, espresso retailers, eating places and different buying and selling shops will shut from 8pm to 5am,” the committee stated in a press release carried by the company.

The committee stated it would take a slew of extra restricted and stringent measures which will attain full lockdown and banning visitors utterly.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Well being introduced the detection of 733 new coronavirus circumstances and 6 deaths over the previous 24 hours, bringing complete infections to 153,838 and over fatalities to 1,650 within the Sultanate.
