Tanzania’s President Suluhu picks Finance minister Philip Mpango for VP

Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan has picked Finance Minister Philip Mpango for vp.
She has submitted his title to parliament for approval. In response to the structure, a VP nominee needs to be authorized by not less than 50 per cent of the members of Parliament.
The place, which fell vacant after Ms Suluhu was sworn in as President following the demise of John Pombe Magufuli, needs to be stuffed inside 14 days of the emptiness.

Dr Mpango, 63, has been the Minister for Finance and Planning since November 2015.
