Toronto FC playmaker Alejandro Pozuelo has been named to Main League Soccer’s Finest XI for the second straight 12 months.
The 29-year-old Spaniard is the one participant from a Canadian group to make the all-star squad as decided in a vote by media, MLS gamers and MLS membership technical employees.
Pozuelo, a finalist for the Landon Donovan MLS Most Helpful Participant Award, tied for the MLS lead in assists with 10 this season whereas ending tied for eighth within the Golden Boot race with 9 objectives. He was the lone Toronto participant to begin all 23 regular-season video games.
The attacking midfielder/ahead completed his MLS debut season in 2019 with 12 objectives and 12 assists.
