“Members hooked up to the Public Order Police, Crime Intelligence, Provincial Detectives (Narcotics Part) and the Eden Cluster Crime Combatting Workforce descended on a drug outlet. A search of the premises ensued when the members discovered massive plastic containers with dagga stashed inside. The police confiscated 71 kilograms of dagga packed in 1kg vacuum packets and 10kg parcels prepared for supply or assortment,” stated police spokesperson Sergeant Chris Spies.

The person, 48, was charged with dealing in medicine and was anticipated to look within the Thembalethu Justice of the Peace’s Court docket on Monday.
